The people who work here seem helpful, friendly, creative and cool. I feel as if I'd like to be friends with them :D I discovered Blue Rooster recently via Yelp when I was looking for an art supply store nearby my apartment in Hollywood. I love that I can order online and pickup curbside. I'm also excited to browse the store in-person eventually.

I like painting with Goldens a lot! They work nicely as watercolors if you water down any color a lot, or if you use without water the paint has a good thick texture when it dries. The paint is a little resistant to blending, so you have to be careful to add exactly the right amount of color or the mix will get overwhelmed. The advantage of that is you can add a lot of colors with one brush and not have to wash it that thoroughly in between.
